It is good to know that I am not the only one feeling a little overwhelmed with age two, of two boys. I fell upon your site, trying to get some ideas of photos that are going to be taken, this was much more fun to read!! I do have a question - At what time, could you start to better understand your girls talking? A lot of my friends have two yr olds, and they are talking quite clearly, and my boys, still babble. I struggled when they did not walk until 16 months, but most people understood but now the talking issue, seems more "mother" related, as if I am not doing a good enough job. Do have any answers?
Also, if there is anyone out there, that has twin two yr olds and older siblings, could you give me some advice on how you do homework time? The twins are all over the place during homework time, my 2nd grader is okay with it, but my 1st grader really needs my full attention, and he does not get it....I need advice. Oh, by the way, the twins, will only sit and watch a show, for a max of 5 minutes....SERIOUSLY! Thanks so much, have a great night. Michelle from Indiana

To all interested moms out there:

I would like to invite you to participate in a research study of parenting views and practices. Dr. Kim White-Mills and Dr. Catherine Dobris of IUPUI (both are moms) are interested in understanding what sources parents find useful in their parenting practices, how parents use different parenting information, and what views parents across the county hold regarding parenting issues.

To access this survey, go to http://www.iupui.edu/~momviews/

Hello to a fellow blogger/Mom of twins! I like your site! My boys are 9 1/2 months old and we, too, have gone through different phases of sleeping troubles! We thought it would be like learning to ride a bike, once you know how to sleep through the night, voila! But then there's the stomach flu, growth spurts, pacifier detox, etc. I have a playpen permanently set up in our bedroom that one can use if his yipping is disturbing the other one. Bye!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant with twins. I'm just beginning to research things that will be helpful and I came across your blog. This breastfeeding info is great. Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to reading this throughout my pregnancy...and after if there's time!

I nursed both my babies at the same time. Football hold with a big nursing pillow worked wonderfully for me. Im a mother of a 3.5 year old boy and 2 year old twin girls. Love your blog!

Donald-
First of all, congratulations, and second... WOW! I have to say, I'm a little jealous. I secretly hope to have another set of twins when we try again. About a car- I believe ANY minivan will fit 4 carseats. It just depends on where/how you will seat them in your car. You will most likely have to put 2 in the 3rd row, and 2 in the second row. (Or 1 in each bucket seat if that's the design). There are plenty of models out there- you just have to choose the features you want (automatic doors, stow & go seating, dvd player). If they let you at a dealership, I would test out how the car seats fit in the bucket seats. (It might determine which kids sit in which row- depending on the amount of room and walking space between the seats). Good luck with everything!

My wife and I are expecting out second set of twins (we have a two year old son and daughter). She is fifteen weeks and due in March. Needless to say, we were shocked, elated and now the reality is settling in. It will be great and we are excited!

Does anyone know what king of minivan will handle four car seats? Someone told me the Chrysler Town and Country or the Ford Windstar. Are these the only two which can safely handle the car seats? Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I'd like to start researching now before delivery day or worse, after.
