A crib divider: Solution to many problems
We kept our girls in 1 crib for about 9 months, which is much longer than some. But our girls just slept better cuddled right up next to each other. At least for a while. Eventually, the squirming, wriggling, and flailing of arms got in the way of sleeping. We didn’t want to buy another crib yet, so instead, we got a crib divider. It was a great solution. The girls were still near each other, we didn’t have to buy another crib, and unless one woke up screaming bloody murder, no one woke each other up. From the reviews I’ve read, the Leachco crib spacer is the best one out there. It measures 28″ x 6″ x 6″ so it fits securely across the width of a crib, with velcro straps that hold it in place. And it has 6 toy attachments to entertain both babies. It retails for about $20-30, a great investment in my mind.
